About Tampa Resists

No Kings Day drew in over 10,000 from all over the Tampa Bay area, making it the largest political event in Tampa Bay’s history

Many have asked - what good came out of this? 

​

The impact may take time to see, but one thing is clear: Tampa Bay stood united to oppose the administrations rush towards authoritarianism, inequality, and division of the people.​

​

That one day event was the outcome of a true grassroots effort.

​

Bringing together people from all walks of life: longtime activists, brand new activists, those who don’t know what it means to be activists, local medics, parents, and those simply tired of shouting at the TV.

 

No big companies. No funding or sponsorships.

 

Just people coming together and doing whatever it took to put Tampa on the map.
